Yarn
Cool/warm hand wash recommended. Machine washable on a delicate cycle. Dry flat in shade, pulling gently into shape. Do not tumble dry.
Hand-knitted socks will benefit from an occasional run through the washing machine to keep them fitting snugly. Yarn will get fluffier with washing and wear – the more you wear them the softer and warmer they’ll be!
Fabric items
All fabric has been machine washed using eco-friendly detergent and tumble-dried (using solar power) before sewing to reduce shrinkage and warping as much as possible.
Bags – spot clean using damp cloth. Can be ironed using warm/hot (cotton) setting.
Bucket hats – machine washable on gentle or regular cycle. Line dry, do not tumble dry. Brim of hat will need ironing (ideally with a starch spray) after washing. Starch sprays are widely available at supermarkets in the laundry section. Use a warm/hot (cotton) setting when ironing.
Pencil cases – spot clean only using damp cloth.
